To achieve the study aim, the researcher conducted a pilot study with a sample of (13) students, the results of the study can be seen in appendix (1). The study sample was consisted of (53) students divided into two groups, experimental and control group, both of them studied the same course (E-learning applications). The experimental group was taught through cloud computing technology while the control group was taught through traditional method. The researcher used the cloud called one drive provided by Hotmail as a platform for learning to save and share the information related to the course subjects. In order to teach the course using cloud computing, the researcher used analytical descriptive approach to analyse and develop the content of the course. To examine the effectiveness of using cloud computing in developing the information literacy the researcher used the quasi-experimental design. For collecting the data, the researcher used work analysis card for the samples' pre-performance and to compare the results with the samples' in the post-performance, and next to calculate the difference on average. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of performance of students in the experimental and control group as demonstrated by the results of their work analysis, which amounted to (8,47) for the benefit of the experimental group. Also the researcher measured the difference of students' performance (in experimental group) for the pre and post applying, the results indicated that the value of t-test was (8.35) for favor of the post-applying. Finally, the magnitude of the impact was calculated using Ƞ2, the results pointed that Ƞ2 value was (0.53), which means that, the use of cloud computing was effective in developing the information literacy for the sample of the study, to ensure if cloud computing have had an effect in students information literacy, the researcher used Blake’s modified gain ratio.
