Administration - vision message objectives
Albaha University has been working on updating and developing its strategic plan to establish its operations and improve its education, research, and community programs outcomes. This is an investment in the strategic changes that Saudi Arabia is undergoing under the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its strategic directions. In order to keep pace with the national movement witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to develop its strategic plans to support the achievement of the objectives of national programs and the strategic planning of the importance in the educational and academic circles as one of the most essential tools and administrative methods for the management of academic work within educational institutions. During the establishment of an independent strategic planning department on 19/09/1439 AH as a critical step to activate the role of the university and make it an active partner in achieving national goals and to support the achievement of national plans of vision of the Kingdom 20 0, and the national program of transition 2020, and the plan for future university education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia prospects for 2029.
In order to keep abreast of this national movement, Albaha University sought to update and develop the strategic plan of the university to be an active partner in achieving national goals and to support the achievement of national projects such as Vision 2030, National Transition Program (2020) and Future Plan for University Education (Horizons 2029).
The main objective of the Strategic Planning Department is to deliver strategic planning as a culture and a new way of thinking and working according to strategic visions and goals. It also creates a productive environment characterized by excellence in performance and productivity and contribute to shaping the future of the university and the participation of the country towards its future directions. Where strategic planning is the right channel through which the objectives of teaching, learning, scientific research, community service, and other fields related to the teaching environment are achieved. It also provides a practical and systematic basis and a measuring tool to follow up on the implementation of projects and academic programs. This department also seeks to spread the culture of strategic planning in the university as one of its real roles by providing a sophisticated model that includes support to all sectors in the university and help in applying best local and international practices to achieve the strategic plan and objectives of the university.
The Executive Office manages the projects of the strategic plan to achieve the university's ambitions and to implement its strategic plan to support the project management culture in the university. The Executive Office raise the efficiency of implementing the strategic plan projects and provide them with the necessary skills to perform these projects.
First: Education Program:
The education program is concerned with following up the implementation of the university's first strategic objective (improving the quality of teaching and learning), which aims at raising the quality of educational programs, adopting them academically, and restructuring educational programs according to contemporary data. (9) initiatives.
Second: Outstanding Performance Program
The outstanding performance program pays attention to the follow-up of the implementation of some of the university's first strategic objectives (improving the quality of teaching and learning) and all the initiatives of the second strategic objective (achieving excellence in the performance of faculty and staff). Capacity, recruitment, and retention. (9) initiatives.
Third: Research Program
The research program is interested in following up on the implementation of the third strategic objective of the university (developing and supporting scientific research). This objective aims at developing scientific research in the university, promoting creativity and innovation research, establishing scientific journals and libraries, and establishing research chairs that serve the society. As well as the implementation of the fourth strategic objective of the university (development of graduate programs). This goal aims at the integrated development of graduate programs through the development of applied programs, the rehabilitation of graduate programs to obtain academic accreditation, as well as the expansion of agreements and twinning with prestigious universities. Where the application is pursuing 12 initiatives.
Fourth: Environment Program
The program focuses on the development of safety, safety, maintenance, technical, and transport services to meet the needs of the participants. (6) initiatives.
Fifth: The Program of Relations
The program focuses its attention on following up the implementation of the university's sixth strategic objective (building effective partnerships with the community). This program aims to serve the community, strengthen effective communication with its institutions, and provide supportive services for community development. Where the program is pursuing the implementation of (7) initiatives.
Sixth: Institutional Systems Program
The program focuses its attention on following up the implementation of one of the university's five strategic objectives (infrastructure development and technical environment) in addition to strategic objective 7 (strengthening the institutional system of the university). This aims to establish an integrated institutional system that includes the development of the university structure, Reflected on the strengthening of the university's image and mental image. As well as the implementation of the eighth strategic objective of the university (self-development of resources), which aims to establish a financial system that contributes to increase the resources of the university, and support scientific and research activities, and independence of its resources. The program works to follow up on the implementation of 13 initiatives.
Seventh: Communication program
The Liaison Program pays close attention to cooperation with all programs and coordinates liaison with relevant parties to ensure consistency and an integrated view of all OMP initiatives. The program also pursues the implementation of the communication plan objectives emanating from the University's Strategic Plan.
