Department of Surgery
About
The surgical department, faculty of medicine, Albaha University can be considered as one of the biller departments in the faculty. It was founded since the faculty establishment. It has a core role in the teaching of surgical modules and courses from 3- 12 semesters.

Community Service
Surgical departments participate in all faculty events and contributions. Those events are world woman day, pregnant lady education, COVID 19 vaccination, participation in the month of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month on March every year, Breast cancer screening clinic, etc. Furthermore, the department's member is working in the university medical center and Albaha Region Hospitals. They provide health services part-times for all Albaha region population.
Research activity
Research work and activity are a crucial part of the department's work. Research in the department was conducted by the department members only or with the faculty students. The department initiates a research unit to support this work to facilitate and support the staff in their research. The department is ready for any collaboration and participation in research.
