The faculty of education at Albaha university has been incorporated to the university since its establishment. It used to be named as teachers’ college of education that were directly administered by the Ministry of Education since 1409. According to the decree number 3514/ MB dated on 3/5/1427 and the agreement of Saudi government number 10/5/1429 in 29/4/1429 the faculty of teachers’ Education directly become administered By Albaha University and named the faculty of education.

Master of Education in Educational Leadership

Overview

The Master of Educational Leadership program is a real turning point in devoting the concept of educational leadership, where the development of skills, intellectual and psychological aspects gives more attention, through his various courses. The program deals with the modern view of the concept of educational leadership, how it can be practiced effectively within educational administrations. It targets graduates of university colleges and workers in the fields of education at the level of schools, district and central administration of the Ministry of Education, universities and other institutions concerned.

Objectives

The Master of Educational Leadership program aims to:

• Prepare professional leaders capable of developing and managing change in their organizations.

• Providing participants with an intellectual and scientific framework in the field of education in general and educational leadership in particular.

• Providing participants with the administrative, financial and technical skills and tools that enable them to perform their leadership roles and identify national priorities, issues and challenges and how to deal with them.

• Training participants on methods of scientific research and the best use of them to face the problems of leadership in educational institutions.

• Strengthen and provide participants with leadership skills that contribute to improving performance to achieve efficient handling of all human and material resources.

• Promote and build an organizational culture based on quality and awareness of ethics of leadership work and the benefits of professional values ​​and strategic thinking.

Learn about the terms and scientific concepts of leadership, its theories and Educational Applications, and its most important modern trends in Arabic and English literature in order to fulfill the requirements of the Knowledge Society and the Challenges of change in Educational Institutions

Explaining the Theoretical Foundations of Educational Planning, Education Economics, Systems and Policies, and Applications of Improvement Models to reach academic accreditation, in line with future National Plans

Creating solutions to the problems and Challenges of Change facing Educational Leaders in the work Environment in light of the most prominent trends and Modern Leadership methods, using specialized Arabic and English scientific references, and discussing them with colleagues

Designing an Educational Plan in light of Educational Systems and policies, models of Improvement and Academic accreditation, in order to achieve optimal Economic standards for Education, with presentations and discussion with colleagues

3.3

Submit a report on various problems and issues related to leadership, some Modern leadership trends, Educational Supervision, Curriculum basics and their Organizations, Electronic applications in the Educational field, and Innovative solutions to these problems, in cooperation with colleagues

3.4

Building an integrated perception of Accountability and performance Management, developing the Organizational Behavior of individuals and developing their capabilities in Educational Institutions, within a collective framework of action

Submitting a report for a solid Scientific Research ( Thesis / research project) in the field of Educational Leadership in a systematic way, using appropriate Statistical Methods, taking into account the Professional and Ethical Commitment in dealing with Information Sources
