The faculty of education at Albaha university has been incorporated to the university since its establishment. It used to be named as teachers’ college of education that were directly administered by the Ministry of Education since 1409. According to the decree number 3514/ MB dated on 3/5/1427 and the agreement of Saudi government number 10/5/1429 in 29/4/1429 the faculty of teachers’ Education directly become administered By Albaha University and named the faculty of education.

Master of Educational Leadership


The Master of Educational Leadership program is a real turning point in devoting the concept of educational leadership, where the development of skills, intellectual and psychological aspects gives more attention, through his various courses. The program deals with the modern view of the concept of educational leadership, how it can be practiced effectively within educational administrations. It targets graduates of university colleges and workers in the fields of education at the level of schools, district and central administration of the Ministry of Education, universities and other institutions concerned.


The Master of Educational Leadership program aims to:

• Prepare professional leaders capable of developing and managing change in their organizations.

• Providing participants with an intellectual and scientific framework in the field of education in general and educational leadership in particular.

• Providing participants with the administrative, financial and technical skills and tools that enable them to perform their leadership roles and identify national priorities, issues and challenges and how to deal with them.

• Training participants on methods of scientific research and the best use of them to face the problems of leadership in educational institutions.

• Strengthen and provide participants with leadership skills that contribute to improving performance to achieve efficient handling of all human and material resources.

• Promote and build an organizational culture based on quality and awareness of ethics of leadership work and the benefits of professional values ​​and strategic thinking.

Clarify the knowledge, concepts and theories related to Teaching methods and Educational Technologies


Learn about Quantitative and Qualitative Scientific Research methods, statistical methods and their scientific applications necessary in preparing scientific research in the field of Educational Leadership



Analyzing modern Leadership Theories and trends in the Educational work Environment and the Challenges of Change in it


Distinguishing between Quantitative and Qualitative research methods, improvement models, Academic Accreditation, Accountability methods and performance evaluation in Educational Institutions


Comparing some Learning Theories and Teaching Methods and their Applications in Educational Institutions



To propose Innovative solutions to problems related to Educational leaders and to apply models for School Improvement, Change Management and Accountability in the Educational field, in cooperation with colleagues


Submitting a report on a scientific research (a thesis) in the field of Educational Leadership in a systematic way, using appropriate Statistical Methods, taking into account Professional and Ethical Commitment in dealing with Information Sources
