Bachelor of Special Education
Overview
The Department of Special Education at the Faculty of Education at Al-Baha University aspires to achieve excellence at the local and regional level in the field of preparing the specialized cadres academically, educationally and professionally to ensure the development of educational and awareness services provided to individuals with special needs and their families to contribute to achieving comprehensive development and the requirements of the age according to the highest scientific standards.
Objectives
The department seeks to achieve the following objectives:

Preparing human cadres from undergraduate and postgraduate students to become qualified teachers and special education teachers and prepare successful researchers, leaders and administrators.

Contribute to the development of scientific research in the field of special education.

Provide advisory and training services to governmental and private institutions and diagnosis and training services for children and their families through specialized centers.

Provide awareness programs for the prevention of disability and educate the community members on how to deal with people with special needs.
