The paper kicks off with sparking the concept of ‘imaginativeness’ or ‘visualization’ in the Arabic travel literature, given that it is a knotty problem which occasionally causes travel literature to lose the characteristic feature of ‘being documented’ which does not suggest ‘affirmation’ in as much as travel literature has its own character through this ‘’documentation’. It is found out that scenes, incidentsand characters in travel literature are not set by taking literary language as a point of departure to depict travels; rather they are depicted through the artistic glimpses which have no bearing on the implicit travel documentary or chronicle between the traveler and his reader. The paper discusses all this through pinpointing this problem in the Arabic old and modern critique and through the creative text blog. A reference has been made to the problems which come up as a result of some artistic travel blogs in which the masculine perspective has proved a driving force for making such travels where ‘the self’ is clearly manifested, a feature which poses a threat to the value of ‘documentation’ of this type of literature.
