The Department of Physics is one of the main departments in the college, which seeks to achieve excellence in the scientific, research and community service aspect.

Providing a distinguished educational program in physics to prepare a qualified generation with scientific skills according to international standards and help students get better jobs in the labor market by providing them with the necessary experience to perform research in physics.

1- Preparing qualified cadres of teachers, researchers and laboratory technicians in the field of physics sciences.

2- Bridging the gap between learning outcomes and labor market requirements.

3- Enabling male and female students to identify the basic concepts and theories in physics.

4 - Conduct scientific research in the field of physical sciences.

5- Contribute to solving societal problems related to physics.

The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Physics program that is designed to provide students with the professional skills they need to succeed and excel in their jobs

The department has a faculty member responsible for the Academic Advising Unit, where guidance is distributed every year to all faculty members in the department to help students solve their problems, especially academic ones.

The department seeks to achieve the quality and academic accreditation standards of the National Accreditation Commission within the framework of the college and university plan for academic accreditation.
