Overview of the Program
The Bachelor of Accounting program at Albaha University aims to prepare academically and professionally qualified graduates in the fields of accounting and auditing, in line with the economic developments witnessed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the increasing demand for qualified accounting professionals. The program is based on an integrated study plan that combines theoretical foundations with practical applications, with a strong focus on developing professional skills, adherence to accounting standards and ethics, and preparing graduates for employment opportunities required by the local labor market. This contributes to bridging the gap in this vital specialization and supporting economic development.
Duration of Study
The duration of study in the Bachelor of Accounting program is four academic years (eight academic semesters), with a total of 131 credit hours. The program includes university, college, and major requirements, in addition to cooperative training in accounting.
Course Requirements
The Bachelor of Accounting program includes compulsory and elective courses distributed over eight academic levels. These courses focus on accounting and auditing, financial and managerial accounting, auditing, and accounting information systems, in addition to supporting courses in management, economics, and finance. The program also includes cooperative training in the final level to link academic knowledge with practical application.

COURSE DISCRIPTIONS
ADMISSION REQUIREMNTS
Students are admitted to the program in accordance with the admission policies of Albaha University and the College of Business. Admission requirements include the following:
- The applicant must hold a General Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The applicant must be Saudi or of Saudi origin.
- The applicant must not have been dismissed from another university for disciplinary reasons.
- The applicant must pass the aptitude test and the achievement test for scientific tracks.
- The applicant must pass any required tests or personal interviews at the time of application.
- The applicant must be medically fit and free from disabilities affecting hearing or mobility.
- The applicant must obtain approval from their employer if employed by a governmental or private entity.
- The applicant must not have been previously dismissed academically or disciplinarily from Albaha University or another university.
