Overview
Program Overview
The Management Information Systems program aims to prepare highly qualified national graduates with strong academic and professional competencies in the field of Management Information Systems. The program offers high-quality education that integrates administrative and technical aspects within a stimulating academic environment that supports innovation and scientific research, and meets labor market needs across the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
Duration of Study
The duration of study in the Management Information Systems program is four academic years, totaling 132 credit hours. This includes university, college, and program requirements, in addition to cooperative training.
Course Requirements
The program requirements include compulsory and elective courses covering management, information technology, systems analysis and design, databases, e-business and e-commerce, business intelligence, and information security, as well as cooperative training aimed at linking academic learning with practical application.

Admission Requirements
The University Council determines admission policies annually based on recommendations from the relevant college councils and other concerned bodies. The Deanship of Admission and Registration at Al Baha University implements admission policies according to the following requirements:
- Applicants must hold a General Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, issued inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The General Secondary School Certificate must not be older than five years prior to the application date; however, the University Council may waive this condition if justified.
- Applicants must pass any examination or personal interview successfully, as determined by the University Council.
- Applicants must be medically fit.
- Applicants who are employed must obtain approval from their employer if working in a governmental or private entity.
- Applicants must meet any additional requirements approved by the University Council at the time of application.
- Applicants must not have been dismissed from another university.
- Other considerations in admission include the applicant’s secondary school grades, performance in interviews and admission tests, if applicable.
