College of Business

The College of Business (CoB) aims to provide quality education and rigorous scientific research in business in engaging academic environment and collaborative social partnership. CoB is home to more than 2,121 students across five programs that include: Administration, Accounting, Management information systems, Marketing and Law. Our faculty consists of more than 72 members across different academic ranks and disciplines; and 29 scholars pursuing their graduate studies overseas. CoB entertains a collegial environment that allow our diverse faculty to work collaboratively in designing and promoting our programs and curricular. CoB is also a house of five consultancy offices that provide its services to public and private institutions. To achieve universal recognition, CoB currently entertains academic partnerships with eminent accreditation bodies such as NCAAA and AACSB. We aspire to assume a leading position among other business schools at the local and regional levels.

About

The college of Business and administration aims to adopt academic programs to progress higher education locally, regionally, and internationally. The student academic affairs goal is to give its students the best education experience to qualify graduates and compatible with academic accreditation requirement

GOALS

Tasks

  1. Follow the regulations and rules for the studies and tests on the university level. 
  2. Supervise the units belonging academic affair (Students affairs unit, Exam unit, students activities unit, advising unit). 
  3. Oversee student academic scheduling and organizing with the colleges with the assistants of the deans.
  4. Update academic schedule during the registration period and solve problems associated with scheduling. 
  5. Govern the academic affair committees and report to the 
  6. Supervise the process of equating courses 
  7. Direct students’ degree plans.
  8. Propose acceptation and transfer in the college.
  9. Prove transferring requests within and out of the university 
  10. Overview the introductory week in the college of business and administration.
  11. Resolve any academic matter for students. 
  12. Secretariat of the College Council.
