The College of Business strives to achieve academic, research, and community excellence by offering high-quality educational programs in management, accounting, marketing, and management information systems. These programs aim to prepare distinguished graduates with creativity and leadership skills to succeed in both local and global business environments. The College’s vision and mission are grounded in the principles of educational quality, applied scientific research, and effective community partnership, within a stimulating academic environment that promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning. The College offers four undergraduate programs: Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, and Management Information Systems. It also provides a range of graduate programs, including the Executive Master of Business Administration, Master of Accounting, and the Executive Master’s in Endowments and Non-Profit Organization Management, in addition to postgraduate diploma programs in Project Management, Human Resource Management, and Internal Auditing and Compliance. These programs aim to prepare administrative and professional leaders who contribute effectively to national development and support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The College has achieved notable accomplishments in academic accreditation, as its undergraduate programs, along with the Executive Master of Business Administration program, have received accreditation from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA). This reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to quality and excellence across its academic programs, while continuing its efforts to obtain accreditation for the remaining programs. The student academic affairs goal is to give its students the best education experience to qualify graduates and compatible with academic accreditation requirement.

Speech of the Vice Dean of the College for Academic Affairs

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the College of Business at Al Baha University. Our college is committed to excellence in education, research, and community engagement, while preparing our students to become future leaders in the business world, in line with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs works in close collaboration with all departments, faculty members, and administrative units to continuously develop academic programs, enhance learning outcomes, and ensure alignment with labor market needs. We strive to provide a productive and inspiring academic environment that promotes innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Tasks

  1. Follow the regulations and rules for the studies and tests on the university level. 
  2. Supervise the units belonging academic affair (Students affairs unit, Exam unit, students activities unit, advising unit). 
  3. Oversee student academic scheduling and organizing with the colleges with the assistants of the deans.
  4. Update academic schedule during the registration period and solve problems associated with scheduling. 
  5. Govern the academic affair committees and report to the 
  6. Supervise the process of equating courses 
  7. Direct students’ degree plans.
  8. Propose acceptation and transfer in the college.
  9. Prove transferring requests within and out of the university 
  10. Overview the introductory week in the college of business and administration.
  11. Resolve any academic matter for students. 
  12. Secretariat of the College Council.
