Faculty of Arts and Humanities
As a response to the national development requirements and the integrative role of the higher education in labor market, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Albaha University was established by the royal decree no. 9682/MB dated 05-08-1426H to meet labor market needs in the public and private sectors. The Faculty includes distinguished theoretical scientific departments of Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Foreign Languages and History. The Faculty is committed to its educational, research and community service responsibilities in accordance with the University vision and the Kingdom educational policies.

Objectives
- Promoting the values and ethics of the Saudi society among students in order to enhance their sense of affiliation to their religion and country.
- Meeting the needs of the local community by preparing highly qualified graduates of arts and humanities who are ready to compete in the labor market.
- Contributing to the development of society by providing distinguished research papers on variety of topics of arts and humanities.
- Enhancing the cooperation and communication with employers within the field of specialization to achieve maximum benefit for the graduates of college.
- Working to obtain the academic accreditation related to the various college programs
- Creating postgraduate programmes within the field of literature and human sciences in support of the scientific research to achieve the optimal community service
