The Institute of Studies and Consulting Services at Al-Baha University was established on 23/5/1433 AH to activate the university's leading and strategic role and contribute effectively to serving the community of Al-Baha region in particular and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general, due to the university's specialists in various academic, research and administrative fields, as well as the availability of spatial, equitable and laboratory capabilities that enable all government and private sectors to benefit from all these elements to support social, economic, environmental and scientific development based on applied scientific research. Conducting studies, research, programs, plans and strategies, organizing meetings, conferences, seminars, panel discussions and workshops specialized in all topics of interest to society, and building investment partnerships with governmental and private bodies and institutions and others.

About The Unit

The Legal Affairs Unit at the Institute of Studies and Consulting Services is the entity responsible for safeguarding the institute’s interests and ensuring its compliance with relevant laws and regulations. It provides legal consultations, drafts contracts, and follows up on cases, contributing to minimizing legal risks and supporting a safe and organized work environment.

Unit Tasks

  • Protecting the institute’s rights from legal risks.

  • Drafting contracts, agreements, and memoranda, and reviewing institute-related cases to safeguard its rights and reduce potential disputes.

  • Reviewing contracts and agreements to ensure their compliance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom.

  • Providing support in the field of governance, as applicable within its scope of responsibility.

  • Preparing defense memoranda to represent the institute before judicial and administrative bodies in all cases where the institute is a party.

  • Monitoring local legislation, regulations, and laws to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • Assisting in dispute resolution procedures through appropriate legal methods.

  • Providing legal advice on potential legal risks.
