Bachelor of Biology
Overview
The Department of Biology offers a course of study leading to the granting of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. The program is designed to be presented by the Faculty of Science and Arts at Albaha University in line with the study plan with the other corresponding faculties at Albaha University. The Bachelor of Science program in the neighborhood helps students to work in different fields and qualifies them to develop their scientific and practical skills. And prepares them to continue their higher studies and research in the various fields of life sciences.
The program consists of 133 credit units divided into eight levels (four years of study). The student enrolled in this program must successfully complete (133) credits according to the study plan.
Objectives
• Scientific and academic leadership in biology.
• The development of specialized cadres in the field of biology contributes to the renaissance of Saudi Arabia and achieves vision 2030.
• Provide an environment for education and continuous learning.
• Preparing male/female students to continue postgraduate studies and research in the field of biology.
• Providing male/female students with sufficient basic, technical and academic professional skills to enable them to work in different fields and bridging the gap between learning outcomes and the needs of the labor market.
• Contribute to scientific developments in Biological fields through scientific research and follow-up developments in biology.
