Department of Marketing
Saudi Arabian economy has been growing at a very fast pace in the last two decades leading to growth of industrialization, information technology, retailing, services, real estate sectors, etc. This has increased the demand for marketing professionals and of marketing programs. In particular, with the recent socio-economic reforms, and Vision 2030 implementation in Saudi Arabia has resulted in the revival and development of the entertainment, tourism and service industries that need human resources in the field of marketing, which the department through its programs endeavors to provide.

The department is committed to supporting the mission of the Albaha University. It does this through excellence in classroom instruction, by motivating students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and competencies sought by employers, and by creating knowledge that informs and advances the art and science of marketing. Full-time faculty teaches all Marketing classes. Faculties have Ph.D. and Master’s Degrees from some of the most prestigious universities. The faculty brings many years of practical experience into the classroom and maintains close industry ties through their active participation in research. Our Marketing program integrates topics from sales, marketing management, marketing research, logistic and international marketing into a unified course of study.

Bachelor of Marketing
Academic consulting advising is a continuous procedure and process in the Program. Each faculty member has office hours besides his/her lecture hours that are posted on the door of the respective office. Students are notified about the office, means of contact and communication, etc. in the first week of every semester. Students have free access to personally meet and discuss their academic issues, problems in courses, registration problems, etc. Moreover, the faculty members contribute also to student development by providing advises on ethical behavior and mentoring students about their future career.
“Accreditation ensures that education provided by institutions of higher education meets acceptable levels of quality.” The purpose of Accreditation is to make sure that the Education being imparted is meeting the standards of quality and are continuously improving. We at Al Baha University in general and department of marketing of College of Business Administration in specific are keen and are in process to get our programmes accredited by the National Accreditation body NCAAA.
We are also in process of AACSB accreditation.
