Deans Message

In light of the rapid transformations and evolving challenges facing universities, Al-Baha University is committed to embedding practices of quality and institutional excellence across all academic and administrative operations, with the aim of achieving competitiveness and leadership at both the local and international levels.

The Deanship of Development and Quality serves as a cornerstone in this direction by adopting a comprehensive approach that supports the dissemination of a quality culture, enhances its application, and contributes to building a sustainable academic and administrative environment grounded in continuous improvement.

As part of its updated organizational structure, the Deanship now comprises three specialized vice-deanships:

- The Vice-Deanship for Planning and Development, which contributes to supporting strategic and operational planning, enhancing institutional performance efficiency, and ensuring integration in the implementation of developmental initiatives across the university.

- The Vice-Deanship for Quality and Accreditation, which focuses on promoting a culture of quality within the university, ensuring adherence to institutional and programmatic accreditation standards, monitoring performance indicators, and activating continuous improvement plans.

- The Vice-Deanship for University Ranking and Excellence, which is dedicated to advancing the university’s standing in national and international rankings and enhancing institutional excellence indicators, thereby reflecting the quality of the university's outcomes.

Through these efforts, the university has made tangible progress in its journey toward full institutional accreditation. It continues to pursue specialized academic accreditations, both locally and internationally, supported by a flexible and integrated institutional system for quality and development.

In conclusion, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency, the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Hussain, for his continued support of the university's development and quality journey. I also commend the efforts of all university stakeholders—faculty members, administrative staff, and students—for their commitment to a culture of quality and collaborative work, which contributes to achieving the university’s objectives and sustaining institutional excellence.
