About
College vice deanship for development and quality is accredited in the study year: 1439-1440 in response to the expansion of the college, support its distinctiveness that coincided with the singing of the college an agreement with the National Center for Accreditation and Evaluation to obtain the academic, institutional and programming accreditation for a number of university programs. For that reason, the vice deanship aims mainly to control the different academic practices of the college due to international standards, reference comparisons and provide the data and indicators to support the adopted decision. In addition, the vice deanship works on facilitating the requirements of the institutional and programming accreditation and provide the evidences between the college and other institutions. As it monitors the preparation, follows the college strategic plan and its compatibility with the strategic framework of the university. Moreover, the vice deanship supervises the scientific research activities and follow-up the development and innovation of the high study programs in the college.
Tasks
- Stabilize and dedicate the concept of quality and spread its culture at the level of the college.
- Monitor the performance evaluation in the college.
- Monitor the implementation of the academic accreditation and evaluation programs.
- Prepare and implement the development and strategic plans of the college.
- Study the difficulties and the problems which face the development and quality programs and propose solutions.
- Determine the specialized training needs for the academic department staff in the college and coordinate with the university development deanship in implementation.
- Encourage the college members to participate and attend the training programs, courses, and workshops offered by the university development deanship.
- Monitor the preparation of the plan to develop the skills of the staff, employees and students.
- Submit periodic reports to the dean of the college about the progress of work in the units involved with the deanship due to the tasks assigned to him and the hardships which confront the units.
- Follow-up the development of the educational facilities in the college and work on updating the laboratories.
