   The Applied College at Al Baha University seeks to achieve its goals by linking to the university’s goals and focusing on promoting local development, expanding partnerships with the private sector, and adapting students from various regions. In addition, the college has adopted the development of quality programs that serve the local community and meet the needs of the labor market, which in turn contributes to the success of the educational process. This is done through professional partnerships that allow the private sector to participate in the college’s programs and cooperate in training, recruitment, and then employment.

The work policy in the applied college is based on detailed plans as well as on innovative methodologies, strategies, and means aimed at optimal exploitation of the college and university’s resources. This is followed by reviews and evaluation of performance and measurement of its results. In addition, the college sets interim targets for its programs that are measured based on current and future protests. .

The Applied College, in its branch in Al-Mandag Governorate, in cooperation with the college’s branches in various governorates of the region, under the management of the CEO of the Applied College, seeks to enhance the role of diploma programs with outcomes that contribute building the nation in accordance with Vision 2030, which aims to focus on the human element, which is considered one of the successful investments to reach... 1. Human Resources Management Diploma

Duration: 2 years (5 levels)

Target Group: Male and female students

Overview:

This program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in human resources. It covers essential topics such as workforce planning, employee relations, labor legislation, performance management, and recruitment strategies. Graduates can work in HR departments across various sectors.

2. Information Security Diploma

Duration: 2 years (4 levels)

Target Group: Male and female students

Overview:

This diploma focuses on building strong technical competencies in safeguarding systems and data against cyber threats. Students will gain expertise in areas such as risk assessment, network security, encryption, and incident response, preparing them for careers in cybersecurity and IT support.

3. Environmental Protection Technology Diploma

Duration: 2 years (4 levels)

Target Group: Male and female students

Overview:

This program provides students with practical training in environmental protection methods, focusing on waste management, pollution control, and sustainable practices. Graduates are prepared to work in government agencies, environmental consulting firms, or industries specializing in safety and compliance.

4. Preparation of School Laboratories

Duration: 2 years

Target Group: Female students

Overview:

This program prepares students to become school laboratory technicians, emphasizing laboratory safety procedures, experiment setup, and proper handling of scientific materials.

5. Tailoring & Dressmaking

Duration: 2 years

Target Group: Female students

Overview:

This program focuses on fashion design, garment construction, pattern cutting, sewing techniques, and fabric handling. It prepares graduates for careers in fashion production or entrepreneurship in the clothing industry.
