This program introduces students to the foundational principles of 3D animation and character rigging. Focusing on body mechanics and basic animation techniques, students will learn to create fluid, lifelike character movements using industry-standard tools. The program also introduces character rigging, teaching students how to build and adjust simple rigs for animation. This introduces students to the core concepts and tools necessary for creating visual effects in the entertainment industry. Through hands-on projects, students will gain foundational skills in match moving and data acquisition for visual effects. By the end, students will be equipped with the essential knowledge to create fundamental VFX shots and begin developing a technical VFX portfolio.
