The idea of establishing the Saudi Scientific Association for Educational Leadership was launched by the Department of Management and Educational Planning at the College of Education, Al Baha University, where it was one of the initiatives presented in its strategic plan. The idea was supported by the leaderships of the College and the University, and it is supported by a group of educational leadership experts in Saudi universities, realizing the importance of existing a joint scientific entity to enhance the progress and communication to develop the scientific knowledge and applied practices in the area of educational leadership. It is also to build a generation of youth leaders in line with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030.

Recommendation No. (5) of the Council of Management and Educational Planning Department No. (3), dated on 25/1/1439 AH.
Recommendation No. (4) of the Council of the Faculty of Education No. (4), dated on 12/2/1439 AH.
Approval of His Excellency, the Rector of the University, on the College Board Transaction No. 39112769 and the date of 24/2/1439.
The decree of the University Council in its second session on 11/6/1439 AH for the academic year 38/1439 AH.
