Department of Islamic Studies
About: Introduction
The Department of Islamic Studies is one of the scientific Departments in Albaha University which cares about serving the community and raising the academic and scientific level of its generations and contributes in establishing community enjoys both originality and modernism. The Department began as early as the establishment of the Faculty of Science and Arts at Baljurashi (i.e. 1431) in view of the need of local job market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The department was built on the values of the Islamic religion and ethics rules, derived from the correct Islamic vision of the universe, human life and destiny, to be a beacon for spreading legislative knowledge and preparing good graduates of the generation that follow the principles of the prophet of Ummah (peace be upon him) and his companions.
The updated study plan consists of 144 Credit hours distributed into four years of study (eight semesters).
