I have done my MA at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom; and my PhD at the National University of Malaysia. I have been teaching at the university level since 1996. I have experienced teaching English language in Yemen, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. My areas of interest in research include second language writing, English for academic purposes, learning with technology, pragmatics, discourse analysis, and translation.
