Main role in inventive designing of microbiology courses that suite the requirements of medical microbiology integrated within organ system multidisciplinary modules constituting the curriculum of MBBS program. Takes active part in a medical student’s educational process employing a curriculum that is based on problem-based learning (PBL), self- directed learning (SDL), case -based learning (CBL), seminars in addition to conventional lecture -based education. Contributes to community service through providing consultations on diagnostic aspects of viral infections to a local hospital. Conducting research mainly on viral infections making use of available data in the records of the local health settings and thus providing insights on common health problem of the local community.
