Professor Ashraf Mamdouh is currently working as a Professor in Electrical Engineering Department . His research interests include statistical signal processing and multisensor data fusion. He is included in the Stanford and Elsevier List of World's Top 2% Scientists for the Years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, respectively. He has been awarded the First-Class State Medal of Sciences from His Excellency President of Egypt in 2017, the State Award for Scientific Excellence in Engineering Sciences with honor in 2014, the First-Class State President Medal of Long Service and Good Role Model in 2010, and the State Incentive Award in Engineering Sciences with honor in 2008.

This course includes: Amplitude Modulation, Angle Modulation: Frequency modulation (FM) and phase modulation (PM), narrowband FM, wideband FM, average power in angle modulated waveforms, generation of wideband FM, demodulation of FM signals, and Analogue to Digital Conversion: sampling theorem, signal reconstruction, aliasing, quantization and pulse code modulation.
