Mohammad got his MSc (2012) and PhD (2019) from University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada from Food Science department. The study of his PhD was about detection of the Top Six non-O157 Shiga Toxin Escherichia coli in beef. Mohammad has attended and join many conferences in US, Canada and Saudi Arabia. His research is focusing on building data base on several topics such as detection of pathogenesis in food in the east and south part of Saudi Arabia, food safety, bacteriophage isolation, and some other environmental topics.
