The use of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic agents for prevention and treatment of different models of oxidative, inflammatory and apoptotic tissue injuries in experimental animals, including:
- Diabetes mellitus and its complications on different organs.
- Ischemiareperfusion injury of liver, kidney, and testes.
- Liver, colon, and breast cancer.
- Toxic effects of drugs, heavy metals, and environmental pollutants on different body organs, as hepatotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, cardiotoxiciy, and gonadotoxicity.
