This module deals with a child in health and disease provide information about the child from conception through birth and the following stages. It provides students with knowledge important to preserve child health, promote normal growth, and prevent childhood illnesses and help them to gain enough knowledge on the health care of children by providing a guide for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of the medical and surgical problems in pediatric patients.
