He obtained his master's and doctoral degrees in mechanical power engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, Benha University. He progressed through academic ranks until he became Professor, focusing his research on heat transfer technologies, heat exchangers, water desalination, and renewable energy. He has authored more than 55 research papers and reviewed over 120 for international journals. In 2023, he was selected among the top 2% of researchers globally according to Stanford University. He has held various administrative roles, including member of the Faculty Council, coordinator of the Mechanical Power Engineering Program, quality coordinator, chairman of final exam committees, secretary of the department board, and general coordinator of student activities
