The faculty of education at Albaha university has been incorporated to the university since its establishment. It used to be named as teachers’ college of education that were directly administered by the Ministry of Education since 1409. According to the decree number 3514/ MB dated on 3/5/1427 and the agreement of Saudi government number 10/5/1429 in 29/4/1429 the faculty of teachers’ Education directly become administered By Albaha University and named the faculty of education.

Vice-Deanship for Quality and Development

Welcome to the Vice Deanship of Development and Quality. Towards Excellence, we are looking forward to developing and supporting all aspects of academic work as well as establishing quality concepts and practices in all academic and administrative units at the College of Education.

Despite the recent establishment of the Deanship of Development and Quality, it has made good steps in that direction based on plans that have drawn and identified with professionalism.

Our ambition at the Deanship of Development and Quality has no limits...

We are proud of our achievements and competitive academic programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Indeed, we are taking steady steps towards sustainable development and improvement, which will lead us, Insha’Allah, to be a pioneer in the field of preparing and qualifying future teacher and future leader in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries.

To this end, we will work on six fundamentals: possessing high professional competencies; career success; technology activation; sustainable quality; attractive and practical learning environment; along with excellence and creativity.

  • Communicate and coordinate with the Deanship of Academic Development concerning development, quality, and academic accreditation.

  • Supervise the work of academic accreditation at the faculty and provide the necessary support for the scientific departments and various units towards the completion of all requirements.

  • Coordinate between the various departments and units in the faculty to ensure complementarity with regard to quality and academic accreditation.

  • Propose the procedures and instructions relevant to development and quality, and follow-up on their implementation upon being approved.

  • Propose the committees associated with the Vice Deanship and follow up the implementation of their works upon being approved.

  • Supervise the units affiliated with the Vice Deanship.

  • Coordinate with the Administration of development of the faculty skills and the Administrative Development Department at the university concerning the skills development of faculty and administrative staff members at the college. 

  • Discussing the results of implementing quality standards and academic accreditation with the various departments and units in the college to verify the proper implementation of standards.

  • Represent the College in meetings and university committees relevant to academic development and quality.

  • Determine the Vice Deanship needs of human capital, equipment, and materials and follow-up on their provision.

  • Preparing the strategic plan of the college.

  • Preparing the annual report of the college.

  • Performing any other tasks within scope work of Vice Deanship.
